What motivated Tamara Rachelle to create Tilted Crowns?
As a therapist to her hair and real estate clients, a team-mom to 60+ plus kids and a confidant to all her friends and family’s secrets; Tamara quickly learned at a young age that she was put on earth to help others. The main objective of Tilted Crowns is very clear and straight to the point. People helping people! As an owner of a hair salon in an area of Atlanta that is highly populated with homeless Georgia residents, Tamara started giving back by paying people in the community to clean, mop and take trash for the salon instead of hiring a business. This led to Tamara hosting an annual Thanksgiving feeding at the salon for the past 5+ years. “Christmas on Edgewood”, was the latest event put together by Tamara and staff at The Hair Lounge. They were able to serve 75+ plates this past December (2019) to the less fortunate residents of the Edgewood Ave. community. As you may know, there is an unexplainable feeling that comes over you when you’re able to use your blessings to bless others. Tamara has decided to reach for the stars with Tilted Crowns. Gently used uniforms, school supplies, and sports equipment are being donated daily. This is only the beginning! Please check the website weekly to stay updated with families or individuals in need of help.
